Privacy Policy

Kyronix Health ("Kyronix", "we", "us") is a consumer health and wellness application. We are not a HIPAA Covered Entity or Business Associate. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal and health information when you use the Kyronix iOS application and website at kyronix.health.

Your health data is sensitive. We take that seriously. Genetic data, lab results, and biometric data are processed on-device wherever possible and are never sold to third parties.

Information you provide

• Account information (name, email address)
• Health profile (age, biological sex, weight, health goals)
• Raw DNA files (AncestryDNA or 23andMe format) — processed on-device only
• Lab results you manually enter or upload
• Medications and supplements you log
• Daily check-ins, mood, and energy logs

Information collected automatically

• Apple HealthKit data (with your explicit permission): steps, heart rate, HRV, sleep, workouts, body composition
• App usage analytics (screen views, feature interactions) — anonymized and aggregated
• Crash reports and diagnostic data via Apple's built-in crash reporting

Information we do NOT collect

• Your raw DNA file is never uploaded to our servers. It is parsed entirely on your device.
• We do not collect or store your HealthKit data on our servers without your explicit consent.
• We do not access your microphone, camera, or contacts.

• To provide personalized health insights within the app
• To power the Kyro AI companion (your data stays in your session context)
• To improve app features and fix bugs (via anonymized analytics)
• To send you notifications you have opted into
• To process subscription payments via RevenueCat (payment details handled by Apple)

We do not sell your data. We do not share your individual health or genetic data with advertisers, data brokers, insurance companies, employers, or any third party for commercial purposes.

Genetic data receives the highest level of protection we can provide:

• Your DNA file is parsed entirely on your device. The raw file is never transmitted to our servers.
• Derived genetic insights (e.g., "you have MTHFR C677T") are stored locally on your device.
• We do not share genetic data with any third party, including research institutions, unless you explicitly opt in to a research program.
• You can delete your genetic profile at any time from Settings → Data → Delete Genetic Data.

You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Account → Delete Account. We will delete your data within 30 days of your request, except where required by law to retain it.

Anonymized, aggregated analytics data (not linked to you) may be retained indefinitely for product improvement.

We use the following third-party services. Each has their own privacy policy:

• RevenueCat — subscription and payment management. RevenueCat receives your Apple App Store receipt and subscription status. RevenueCat Privacy Policy
• Anthropic Claude API — powers the Kyro AI companion. When you send a message to Kyro, relevant context from your health profile is included in the API request. Anthropic processes this data per their API terms. Your data is not used to train Anthropic models. Anthropic Privacy Policy
• Apple HealthKit — we access Apple Health data only with your explicit permission, and only the data types relevant to your health profile.

Depending on where you live, you may have the following rights:

• Access — request a copy of the data we hold about you
• Correction — request correction of inaccurate data
• Deletion — request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
• Portability — request your data in a machine-readable format
• Opt-out of sale — we do not sell data, but you can opt out of anonymized analytics in Settings

California residents have additional rights under CCPA. EU/UK residents have rights under GDPR. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@kyronix.health.

Kyronix is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, contact us at privacy@kyronix.health.

Kyronix Kids/Family features are designed for parental use on behalf of minor children, with parental consent required.

Kyronix is a consumer wellness application, not a medical device. The information provided in the app, including genetic insights, lab interpretations, and AI companion responses, is for informational and educational purposes only. It does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

Always consult a qualified healthcare provider before making changes to your diet, exercise, medications, or supplements based on information from Kyronix.
