Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Kyronix Health application ("App") or website at kyronix.health ("Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the App or Site.

2. Not Medical Advice

Kyronix is a consumer wellness and health information application. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

The information provided through Kyronix — including genetic insights, lab result interpretations, biomarker analysis, AI companion responses, and any other health-related content — is for informational and educational purposes only.

You should not rely on Kyronix as a substitute for professional medical advice. Always consult a qualified and licensed healthcare provider before making any decisions about your health, medications, supplements, diet, or exercise regimen.

In case of a medical emergency, call 911 or your local emergency services immediately.

3. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Kyronix. By using the App, you represent that you are at least 13 years of age. Users between 13 and 18 must have parental or guardian consent.

4. Account & Data

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

You own your health data. By using Kyronix, you grant us a limited license to process your data as described in our Privacy Policy for the sole purpose of providing the App's services to you.

5. Subscriptions

Kyronix offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are processed through Apple's App Store and governed by Apple's terms. Subscription fees are charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.

Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage and cancel subscriptions in your App Store account settings.

6. Genetic Data

You may upload raw DNA data files from third-party testing services (such as AncestryDNA or 23andMe). By uploading such files, you represent that you have the legal right to do so and consent to Kyronix processing the data on your device to provide genetic health insights.

Raw DNA files are processed entirely on your device and are not transmitted to Kyronix servers. See our Privacy Policy for full details on genetic data handling.

7. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to:

• Use the App for any unlawful purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from the App
• Upload another person's DNA data without their explicit consent
• Use the App to make clinical decisions without appropriate professional oversight
• Attempt to circumvent subscription or access controls

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The App and Site are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of harmful components. Genetic and health insights are based on published scientific research and are subject to the limitations and uncertainties inherent in that research.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kyronix Health and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the App or Site, including any health decisions made based on information from Kyronix.

10. Accessibility

We are committed to making Kyronix accessible to users with disabilities. We aim to conform to WCAG 2.1 Level AA guidelines. If you encounter accessibility barriers, please contact us at accessibility@kyronix.health.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via the App or email. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
